I have a 2011 180 255sc challenger and I think its pretty fast. I have had it at about 50mph with 3 people in it ,one of which was my 425lbs buddy. Its going to depend on how many people you are going to have in your boat.. In my mind i think you will get pretty close to the same results in both...

If thats the case im not sure. maybe the transducer is bad? I would definitely try and reset it before messing with switching the transducer out

I have the same boat. the depth guage looks like a black rubber cap on the bottom of ur boat. I would have to look but i think it is toward the back. Also if you read in the owners manual you can set it to alert at whatever depth you want.. so that might be why it goes off all the time.

Well i just looked it up on sea doos web page and it doesnt state any recalls except for the throttle recall. Just fyi.

Hey man congrats on the boat! I have the same boat in blue . The only recall i had was for the throttle recall but if thats already done you wont have to worry about it. I have no complaints about this boat its awesome. Im wondering where you got info on the 2 recalls that you speak of in your post.

I took the boat out last night pulling the tube and the steering seemed to be difficult going to the left my 400 lbs pound friend was also sitting on the left side. At low speed the steering wheel turned real easy but towing at about 20 mhp it was kind of tough to get it to turn.. Any info on this?

I have ran into the same thing loading back on to the trailer. we found that we were to deep but have not been out much to fine tune the depth. As for the forward push at the dock in my mind have not been out to test but physics says if in N and there is forward thrush and no actual gear than...

well took the boat out saturday on a lake this time and docked it a lot better going real slow. I read a post from somewhere on the net about putting the shift lever between N and R to stop the forward push while at the dock in Nuetral. has anyone tried this and what results have u got.
