You really have 2 different engines in your Speedster?

My boat came with a factory bilge setup with it's own wiring. If I were to replace the pump, I would use the factory wiring. Why would a replacement pump require hacking the existing wiring?

I have the pitch that comes on the Solas X props (SD-SC-X) 16-23. These impellers are on my boat. I believe I still have my original SeaDoo props as backup.

My engines WILL shut down if they get too hot. I wonder if they will run with the head temp sensor disconnected? 1996 Speedster with twin 720s.

The base of the rubber part of an engine mount is metal, nothing would look broken, but if you lifted the engine, it would go back down where it came from concealing the problem. How does your engine mount to the hull? I have to admit that I have the 720 engines and they use an engine cradle...

The engine mounts will separate in time, but its odd that you were able to pull the engine up. What kind of boat do you have? Lifting the front of the engine that much would suggest that more than one engine mount is compromised. Unless the engine-to-engine cradle bolts backed out somehow.

I used the stock jetting. The boat has been running with the air filters since the late 90's.

The old one is probably age hardened. If your drive shaft seals are original, it's past time to replace them. Try to align everything so the carbon mates flat to the stainless steel seal.

I don't really know how fast the boat goes or how high the engines rev. I don't think it would have a direct relevance to your boat as mine has AM air filters, no chokes and RE rotary valves with different timing. The boat does operate pretty well though with strong power from a stop and good...

While getting my 1996 Speedster cleaned and ready for Summer, I noticed that the trailer could use some work. Instead of repairing the trailer (it does have a hole in the frame), is anyone looking to sell their trailer?
