I haven't tried it since getting it back from the shop. I've already pulled the exhaust. Prior to taking it to the shop a few weeks ago, I was able to get it to crank, it just took multiple attempts. I want to say that the starter would just spin for the most part and catch every now and again.

To me, it sounds like it is fuel related as well. You may want to check for the normal things: Grey fuel lines, Fuel Regulator Valve (On, off, Reserve), clogged fuel filter's in the carb(s). If you have the grey fuel lines they supposedly deteriate from the inside and will clog up the fuel...

Do I have to remove the flywheel to get to the stator or is it before the flywheel. Also, which part in the diagram is the stator as the parts are not listed. I think the one that is the stator does not have a number associated with it. Would a bad stator cause the starter solenoid to just click?
