The new one I believe is a 93-95 xp or sp,the engine I got rid of is out of a 1993 explorer jet boat. Both are 587s,I’ll post a picture later today of the 587 with the cooling lines in the head.

Excuse my ignorance one last question,there isn’t any oil reservoir I need to fill on the engine itself aside from the oil tank itself that goes to the crank case for the rotary gear,I keep seeing mixed info and am not sure,first time dropping an engine into a ski tho I’ve owned this one...
