    Much appreciated, knowing the interference really helps. I am currently debating myself the gear replacement versus crank replacement. I know my journals are good, so I am leaning towards the gear R&R. Its good to have friends with the right equipment. He's pushing the R&R.

    Another question. The mating surface of the Rod and Rod cap look as if they were molded together and broken apart??? The mating surfaces are not machined to a smooth surface. Even though, the caps match up to the corresponding rod. I was going to use the rods, but I am now reconsidering.
