its called and accelerator pump and yes you need it unless your carbs have been modified to remove it

the sensor probably went bad in the actual model. its fixable but not that easy to do.

probably need to click the start button to get some power to it

check compression and most likely need to rebuild carbs. the previous owner could have rebuilt them with junk parts too

can you turn the pto by hand with the plugs out?

okay I just replaced those and I'm gonna have to see if its still an issue this season

should i be able to blow air through the main fuel input on the carb (951) or should it be closed off and restricted. i have problems that if i let it sit all the fuel in the line just runs into the carb.

ive checked it before and was good

anyone know the factory size I couldn't find anything

google says the 951 is limited at 7200 and 800 says 7200 but should be around 6800-6900. My 951 runs around 6900-7000

if he rebuilt the carbs then you should get a clear tube, hook it to the input on the carb then put the tube in a bottome of gas too see if the fuel pump is working
