    Issues with 97 GSX and 98 GTI that I purchased recently

    Replaced the rubber boot on the trim sliding block with a new one. Trim is working again. I do notice a clicking noise when at the peak of trimming up before it shuts off. Probably the damage I noticed to the worm gear mating surface with the motor gear. May need to replace worm gear later.

    Had to pry the trim motor off worm gear. Replaced it with a new aftermarket motor. Old motor was stuck to the worm gear. Worm gear was a little chewed where it made contact with motor gear. It still mated up to new motor. Aftermarket casing was a little different from original. Not much...
