My 2012 GTI SE with 56 hours goes 54 mph with a 235 pound rider. Touring and Sport mode will absolutely get you over 50, easy. Not certain about economy mode. FYI... the skis will all start up in Touring mode by default. You have to actively put into Sport mode or Economy mode.

I believe you are using a "Learner" key. All my Seadoos (five) ranging from 2012 GTI 155 SE to 2019 RXT-X 300 all have green learner keys. The normal keys are yellow. Normal keys allow for three riding modes. Economy, Touring, and Sport. Check your keys and then your dashboard once running. The...
