    2000 GS runs for a minute then dies?

    My GS starts and runs great for a few (2-3) minutes (warm up and maybe 3/4 throttle) ...then it bogs/dies. When it dies I can hit the start button and the starter/motor turns over (healthy) but will not start (choke, no choke, etc...). Park it on my lift for 15-20 minutes and it restarts...

    Spark Plug boot

    I have a 2005 GTI FRI (787 motor) and the spark plugs have a rubber collar/boot around them. This inhibits me from getting my socket on the plug. How do I remove without destroying/damaging this rubber collar? It does not seem to be addressed in the service manual??? Thanks, Tom
