I dropped the engine back in and used the alignment tool. I had to remove a couple of shims to line it up so obviously it was worth doing. Got the welded pipe back and put back in but didn't manage to put the tuned pipe back in yet.

Actually in the process of ordering one from you or your brother right now with some other 3D parts... But I also have 3 of these units so if this one was fixable I would still hang onto it. Not sure how it would even be possible to fix an internal crack.

The shop, and myself were worried that since neither of us knew the history of the engine and it has not run properly since I bought it that maybe the previous owner had messed with it and not set the timing properly.

I see now that the fuel module is part of the whole sending unit that I also swapped over from the other one.

I swapped injectors over from my good seadoo and unfortunately it didn't make a difference as well as swapping over the fuel pump. I'm not sure if I swapped the fuel module... I will have to look at it and see if I remember swapping it.

I think I will try to pressure test the exhaust pipe and see if it leaks into the water jacket.

Yeah, I tried to run a scope camera down there and couldn't see anything, but it's pretty full of carbon. Can't find any of these pipes for sale online. I'm in Canada so that doesn't help.

Do you think it's safe to have that welded? I'm guessing the only problem I would see from the cracked pipe is getting water in the hull. Also noticed the PTO exhaust port is very oily compared to the mag side.
