I have my new motor mounts. I have removed the old mounts and now I need to install the new ones and align the motor. I know there was a good video on how to do this on the HX...but I can't find the video or even a write up for the procedure for the HX. Can someone point me to a video or writeup...

3 of my motor mounts separated and my motor kicked sideways and disengaged the driveshaft. I have ordered new mounts. My question is...how much will I need to remove from the motor to install these?

It was the regulator\rectifier. I am not sure if and how the battery falling down in the hill caused it to fail but I suspect something went amiss with the battery resulting in a blown fuse and the rectifier issue.

Spot on mate. I didn't have a new regulator|rectifier so I put a different used one I had an she runs perfect again! I suspect it has been going out as it has been hard to start for a while. It seems to spark off immediately with the new regulator\rectifier.

I new to replace the fuel baffle on my 97 HX. I am seeing replacements for around $200. Looks like the replacement baffle has a fuel level sending unit which I don't need. Anyone know where I can get a new baffle without this sending unit (maybe a little cheaper)?

I am working with it now....I think the issue may be in the carb body pass the plastic bushing. The shaft moves freely in the bushing but starts having an issue when the center of the shaft gets pushed past the bushing. I have to leave now but I will examine this better when I get back later...
