Just because mine did the exact same thing when the bearings went in mine. Made a rattling noise and I couldn’t get the boat over 3-5mph and barely running. My mechanic looked at it the next day and confirmed. I would say try to get in there and spin it and see what it does.

I bought mine at 80 hours and it was the original SC. I had it rebuilt a year later with a local mechanic who pretty much just charged me for parts and beer so I got lucky. I did it for piece of mind but used it the full summer before I did.

If you can drive it at WOT for 10 minutes with no beeps or codes, starts easy, idles good and gets up on plane without slipping then it should be good to go.

Runs absolutely perfect. The ECU will be programmed for the 260hp model after the intercooler goes in to make sure all the mapping is good.

well the x-charger had 10 hrs on it out of a jetski and I traded my SC to my mechanic for it plus 300 bucks. I think so far I am in it around 800 bucks.
