Are you sure? I have heard that other things like a bad stator can cause the same symptoms. If you're guaranteeing this will fix the problem then I will definitely contact the owner.

Went back out again and it beeped me every time I tried! After running on a hose for a few minutes it is giving me the overheat alarm even though the engine isn't even remotely warm. Wont start back.

What causes them to leak fuel? They’ve just been rebuilt properly.

How could it not be cleaned? It’s three holes... soak in some chem dip and then blow out with air compressor and would be good as new.

Yes, oem mikuni. Needle and seat also. Fuel lines and filter. Also blew out fuel selector valve but never took it out and cleaned it. The one thing I didn’t do was check the pop off pressure.

Not sure what the brushes are. I did rebuild the starter with new seals and commutator as well as terminal. will start investigating the fuel system later tonight.

Are there any aftermarket options? I thought about making a carbon fiber sheet and finding some other gauges, might just go simple with battery voltage and speedometer. Has anybody ever done anything like this?

On my 96 XP I picked up none of the gauges work, no lights or anything from the multi-function, the VTS works but the gauge doesn't, and the speedo wheel isn't locked up or frayed but haven't tested that gauge either and I am assuming it doesn't work either. Is there a reason none of them would...
