Got my 2000 RX back together after the carb rebuild...pulled the choke, started cranking it, and it turned over many times then knocked a bit, so I pulled the plugs, turned it over and the cylinders were FULL of fuel, I mean...gas went everywhere. Now I am questioning if I just over-choked it...

Noticed this oily residue from the exhaust on the '97 GTI. Seems to be a water-oil mix. Normal? I've not had it hooked to a hose or anything, just ran it for 15 seconds or so a few times. Maybe the previous owner didn't do a good job of blowing out the water from the exhaust?
