Are the rivets for the rub rails and the ones that hold the tool and fire extinguisher bins longer than the standard ones sold at Home Depot or lowes?

I found a couple old threads about this, but saw no definitive process on how to do it. I really like the new style ones with the color inserts showing, but want to know how or if it will work before buying them.

What is a typical rpm to speed ratio? I'm not sure if my gtx is running normal or I'm experiencing cavitation. Idle is at 1500 , throttle response is crisp at first touch but then it feels like a slow build up to plane. At 3500 rpms the speedo is at 10mph, ski jolts and really takes off at 4500.
