Need help !!..1997 seadoo xp 787 is not getting fuel..I put new rings , valves and all new gaskets on it..turn the engine over and it will not start..However when I take out the spark plugs and dump fuel into the cylinders it starts right up and runs until fuel in cylinders are burnt out..could...

I recently put new valves , rings and gaskets on my 1997 seadoo xp 787 put it all back together and it will not start. It has excellent compression,lots of fire and its getting fuel.Is this perhaps a timing issue ? If so how do you time it ? I've tried everything please help..Thanks
