Yeah, all the fuel lines are a reddish color. I did go ahead and replace the in-line filter coming out of the oil tank. I am assuming that since the fuel lines are not grey, that they have been replaced.

So the stator has nothing to do with it charging? Where is the recifier loctaed?

The guy I purchased them from took it to a repair guy for a charging issue. The mechanic said that the stator was bad. I am learning here, so bare with me. Is the stator for the charging system or for the spark? It does run, but doesn't charge the battery.

Good deal. Any recommendations for the bast wat to take care of them? I,ve changed both fuel and oil filters, plugs, drained the old gas and put in new, drained and filled the oil, it has impellers and 1 is getting a new stator. What compression is good? Thanks for your help...
