It may not start in the water, or die after starting.

    97 Xp 787 Runs but won't start

120 psi seems low for a 787. It may start and run out of the water but will have difficulty under load.

    No beep, no power...

you said you disconnected the stator and no blown fuses. Preform resistance tests on the stator plug.

    GTX MAINT screen

Probably just a reminder based on hours. There are beeper codes that alert you to specific problems and display messages/warning leds. Download the service manual and read the section that outlines maintenance. If your GTX is a 96, 70 hours is pretty low. It must have sat around for long...

98 gtx limited starter intermittently works

There should be static tests (resistance measurements) listed in the Electrical section for the trigger coil in the Ignition subsection and for the Magneto coils in the Charging subsection

98 gtx limited starter intermittently works

There are resistance tests outlined in the shop manual for the connector on the Magneto case. You will probably need to open it up to fix what is wrong

    1996 seadoo not starting

If your gauges do not come on just pressing the start key, then check all fuses in the front and rear electrical boxes. Use a schematic and check that power and ground are getting to the MPEM.

    1996 seadoo not starting

Do the gauges come on for about 30 seconds by just pressing the start button (no key)? If they do then I would recheck the DESS post and its connections to the MPEM and clean up the key and the ring and contact on the post.

94 XP idles but won't rev

If the only grey fuel lines left are on the vent lines for the gas tank I would try the following because it sounds like it only idles for a second or two and then dies even if you don't try to rev it. Check that the pulse line to the carb is secure on both ends and is not damaged or cracked...

98 gtx limited starter intermittently works

I thought you previously checked that. You can monitor those 2 wires with a voltmeter while the engine is cranking and vibrating. The schematic shows where you can probe them. I would try at the base of the solenoid first and if the 12V is intermittent, then you can work your way back through...

98 gtx limited starter intermittently works

Because you reported this above it sounds like the solenoid is either losing the 12V signal on the yellow/red wire or the ground connection on the black wire at the base of the solenoid. You need to determine which connection is being interrupted and where the interruption occurs. You did not...

    Nujet impeller 121-035-0701

I have a jet pump for my 96 gtx that came with a Nujet impeller 121-035-0701. The impeller and wear ring are in good shape with about 0.4-0.5mm clearance. The pump holds pressure when I checked it. Anyone know anything about this impeller or have experience using it? I believe it is for a 96...

98 gtx limited starter intermittently works

So you are saying you do not get a constant 12V signal to the base of the solenoid if you wiggle the wire and connector that goes to the base of the solenoid. If that is what you are saying then you could use an ohmmeter to check continuity of that wire and connector. Disconnect from the base of...

98 gtx limited starter intermittently works

Since you jumpered across the solenoid and it cranks reliably you know it's not the starter or the battery. If you tested for a constant 12V signal into the base of the solenoid while cranking then it is not the button, wiring or MPEM. If both of the solenoids are old, the internal contacts for...

Replacements for jet pump cone o-ring 293300011

Thanks for the reply. OSD is a good price if you need to order other items. But if you just want a couple of o-rings the shipping more than doubles the price of the parts.

Replacements for jet pump cone o-ring 293300011

Has anyone found an aftermarket or local hardware store replacement for this expensive o-ring? I measured an old one and I think it is 50mm OD x 45mm ID x 2.5mm thick.
