    I been checking it out today and going through all the possibilities it seen that the fuel / water separator in the front was missing the o ring can this be the problem to my troubles , I also took the carbs out to clean it am going through them is I write this post

    Thanks for the advice I recently did take the grey temp fuel lines but couldn't get the fuel selector out to clean for some reason that middle screw won't come off , I sprayed wd-40 let it sit and still nothing so I just let it ride but I've been reading up on some threads and allot of people...

    Thank you I'm glad too I was literally getting ready to take the whole engine apart lol , one more question when I started it up it was going on idle 3,000 to 3,200 rpms then it would go back down a little and then go up again is this normal?

    Update : I checked the wiring again and I decided to just go buy new ground cable and to my surprise the engine cranked right up thank you for the help I plan on taking it out tomorrow and test it out in the water

    Also I hooked my car battery on and still wouldn't turn over but I will try the voltmeter and see what it does

    Right after I seen it wouldn't start , I thought maybe the starter was done for so I went and took it to get rebuild , the battery is new in checked wiring when I took out starter all look new .

    I took the original starter to get rebuild at a shop and I have a brand new battery how can I find out if is the connection can i put jumper cables directly to the starter and try to see if engine turns over would that work?
