Is this a sea water ski?

Tipped a GTX Limited 230 today. Didn’t even think it was possible.

You have a vacuum pick up on a GTI 90 but no bilge and I barely see a drop of water there.

    2008 gtx 155 wont start

You would need a candoo pro diagnostics tool. Check at candoo pro.com

True, I forgot about that one. There are some guys here selling parts.

    2008 gtx 155 wont start

The rattling is normal on the trailer. What is your maximum speed? At 58 mph it would be normal.

Well, I am not an expert but the DESS post is definitely something to look at. These post always fail after some time. They are not hard to replace. Second thing, I supposed you checked the solenoid? Have you also checked that the engine is not seized? Have you tried to crank without the park...

2007 Seadoo GTI No Power Help

How did you test the DESS switch? Also, do you have two keys? Also, even without a key, I believe the display should come on when you press the start button.

    Mile to km

On newer models where the speed is displayed in numerical value there is a setting that enables you to make the switch. However you didn't provide much information about your ski.

    Display Died - 2017 155 GTI - help!

How can you know if it won't go to sport mode if everything is dead? You mean it is working despite no display and no beep? I would definitely check the battery first.

So I didnt tighten a drain plug fully and got 10 inches of water in my 1999 GTX RFI 787 Help please!

I guess if it runs on the lake tomorrow for 20-30 minutes straight it will be OK.

So I didnt tighten a drain plug fully and got 10 inches of water in my 1999 GTX RFI 787 Help please!

OK, this is bad. I am no expert here (but I lost an engine before) but in 24 hours the engine will be ruined if nothing is done. I would add oil in the cylinders right away and try to turn the engine by hand to make sure it's everywhere inside the engine until you can fix the starter/flywheel...

GTI died while running and won't start

Like Scotty said in a Star Trek movie: "The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain"

GTI died while running and won't start

I'll tell you just one thing: when you buy "used", you buy "used" whether it's an automobile or a Sea-Doo. You have to trust what the previous owner tells you, even if he's lying. In 2015, I bought a used 2003 GTI from a distant relative and he told me that the ski had been taken care of very...

Single chirp? And a few more questions... "chirp" "lean" "air filter" "challenger 180"

I believe single chirp (probably a longer one?) means that you key is not recognized by the computer. If you play with it and then it works it would be a strong indication that your DESS post is failing.

Single chirp? And a few more questions... "chirp" "lean" "air filter" "challenger 180"

One more question: where do you connect your CanDoo? On the DESS lanyard (older models) or to a dedicated port (usually close to the battery)? I am asking because if your CanDoo is connecting to the DESS post and that it is reading your machine instantly, it is most likely not a DESS port issue...

Single chirp? And a few more questions... "chirp" "lean" "air filter" "challenger 180"

Do you have a second key to test, even if it is a learning key?

Single chirp? And a few more questions... "chirp" "lean" "air filter" "challenger 180"

For the key, it could rather be the DESS post that is failing. Have you checked the inside of your key for the presence of metallic clinker? If yes, clean it.

Make yourself a habit to frequently inspect the inside hull and make sure everything is in order.

Did you remove the seat to make sure there was no water there? With a brand new ski there shouldn’t be any or less than a cup. I have seen on this forum and on YouTube brand new skis sinking... If yours had some it would have been hard to keep in balance even at medium speed.
