IBR when in reverse sprays salt water all inside engine compartment

And if I was in your position I would definitely consider trading. Down the line you will have lots of issues with that ski if problems are not fixed asap under warranty by the dealer. Happened to me with a car 20 years ago. There were some paint issues with it so I returned it to the dealer as...

IBR when in reverse sprays salt water all inside engine compartment

The paint developed a problem on the main compartment cover. It started to crack. Also, there was a problem with the decals around the compartment. And also, the left mirror was not assembled properly. Dealer replaced the compartment and the decals and he fixed the mirror. Excellent service...

IBR when in reverse sprays salt water all inside engine compartment

The video you are referring to is the guy with missing bolts on the sponsons. I too had some issues with my new ski but fortunately there were only cosmetic issues. All the issues were fixed in a timely fashion under warranty by the dealer and I didn’t have any issues. You seem to be stuck with...

IBR when in reverse sprays salt water all inside engine compartment

This is absurd. Have you contacted BRP directly? 1-888-272-9222. Water should not be spraying inside your ski, final.

    Fogging a new Spark

And I suppose removing the deck is complicated... The manual doesn’t specify clearly to do it. I did mine because I had to check the plugs.

2019 GTX230 or Wake Pro230, please give me guidance !

Lucky guy in November. Here we have snow on the ground! For the first five hours, follow the instructions religiously and then until 10 hours just do not go full throttle all the time. Then you are good. I believe you should also change the oil after 10 hours.

    Fogging a new Spark

Some people told me that I didn't need to fog a 4 stroke engine. Some people say the opposite. I decide to fog mine by myself for the first time. Fogging your Spark should be easy if you can get to the spark plugs. First, disconnect the harness and remove the top connector (it is pretty long...

How do I find out my 2014 spark HP ?

Ah. Good. Since we are on the subject, are all 90 HP models "HO" ?

    Winter

You'll be fine if it is in the water. The lake effect makes it almost impossible for anything to freeze at this temperature in the water. We have some people here that keep their pontoons in the water even in the low 20s as long as they leave the motor down in the water.

Good place to purchase a Shop Manual

I buy mine at the "Service Manual Warehouse". Got one for my Sea-Doo and one for my Polaris ATV in the PDF format.

How do I find out my 2014 spark HP ?

Do you have the 3-up? The stickers on it will clearly say. Maybe there was an option for the 2-seater at 90 HP.

How do I find out my 2014 spark HP ?

The basic 2 riders model was 65 hp and the 3-up was 90 HP I believe in 2014. Same engine, just that the 90 HP has the HO (high output I think) option on it.

new ski 2018 gti carbon seal leaking as new

If I had a problem like this, I would storm in the dealer and make a scene. Definitely not normal and since you are in a salt water environment, your engine and components will be greatly affected. Did you contact BRP directly?

    New to forum (help needed)

If I am not mistaking it is a 2005 from the two last digits of the serial number. That's a start. There must be some indications on the ski such as GTI, or Wake, or something like that. ECUs can be ordered generally but I do not know if you can have them shipped in South Africa.

Tune up summary, where can I find?

Maybe you should get the service manual? I believe it is available on Sea-Doo Manuals dot net.

    More winterization questions

A Sea-Doo is a great machine if you take great care of it. Dealers are only for major issues I am starting to believe. I know Yamaha makes good machines also but I prefer the looks of a Sea-Doo.

    Oil life

As long as it doesn't go over the max limit you're fine. If you are unsure you can always siphon out about a cup. Easy task. I think 3.25 quarts seems just about right if you changed the oil filter. If you did not it will take a bit less. I do not have your precise manual on hand you'd have to...

    Oil life

Mine after 35 hours since last oil change was clear but darker. I decided to change it but I I guess I could have done more hours on it.

    Winterization question (couple questions)

All done! I need an extra cup of water (manual is wrong!). Dealer told me that the two quarts quantity is good if one doesn't replace the filter. This is kind of dumb since the kit comes with a filter... Good thing I check the plugs: one of them had small fractures on the ceramic part. The...
