    Any harm done?

Was winterizing my GTI 2018 this afternoon and the antifreeze was leaking too slowly onto the engine (via garden hose and adapter). Sea-Doo threw at me a long beep after about a minute and I stopped it right away. Any harm done? I tried connecting my Candoo in it but I always get in trouble...

2018 Sea doo GTI 90 nose cone marking

Out of curiosity, how many hours do you have on your engine?

    2018 sea doo GTIR 90???

I have that exact same model and there is no R. You should remove it!

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

I think your diagnostic is dead on. I just retried it three times and same result: engine starts for 1.5 second and then it stops fair and square. Then I remove the plugs and it is shooting water and gas and what’s remaining of the fogging oil. I spoke to the guy who borrowed it and he told me...

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

Yes I know. This year is a crazy year: no way to find a dealer that has time. People are left on their own. It is 24 hours already but most of the water is out and I added fogging oil last night. Now, from what I read, I should 1. Empty the intake, 2. Change oil a couple times, 3. Try to start...

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

If I just fog the engine will it hold a week or two until it gets to the dealer? Is the intake the big black box just under the handles?

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

Shouldn't the oil be grey if it had been contaminated? I am fairly sure that the water didn't go in the manifold because the Sea-Doo was docked and even if it was deeply in the water, the water level did not reach the intake. But I am not ruling it out also. I am so happy this is not my ski...

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

Yes, thanks. I actually was able to crank it this morning and with new plugs, I even started it for one second although it stopped right away. I removed plugs again and there still seems to be some water in it. I don't know why it drowned but I suspect the carbon seal. This is not my Sea-Doo and...

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

It wasn’t sunken but it had a lot of water inside the bay and it was impossible to know if there was water in the engine. So basically you’re telling me that there is water as well in the exhaust. So with a flooded engine that now turns without plugs, you’re sure that the exhaust is filled as...

Hope I did the right thing, Sea-Doo 2013 sunken

At 8:00 PM tonight I noticed that the Sea-Doo next dock to mine was sunken (a rented cottage). It had water over the engine. I alerted the owner right away and him and his friend drained the engine bay with a bucket. Once it was afloat, they put the key and gave it one crank but the engine would...

    My old cover is finished

I need a new cover for my GTI LE 2003. I saw some cheaper ones and some very expensive ones. I am on a medium budget. What do you guys recommend? Shipping in Canada. Thanks.

How long can you leave moored in water

Mr. Honda, while we're on the carbon seal subject, how long do they last (in hours)? My 2018 GTI is closing in on 94 hours, what is there to inspect? Just removing the boot and making sure the seal is OK (meaning not worn out). My ski doesn't take on water at all. I also have a 2003 GTI that...

Just checking in after an uneventful summer

So it has been a coronavirus year. I didn’t use my Sea-Doo GTI as much as I hoped for because our beaches were not really COVID monitored and I stayed as far away from them (we all saw the parties on different medias). Note: I have my personal small beach for myself. As a result, I only put 30...

I just want to say thank you!

You’re in a great place! Water looks clean. Nothing like a daily ride to bring a smile on the face. Sometimes I prefer my 2003 Sea-Doo to my 2018. Take great care of it and you’ll keep for years!

    New SeaDoo Owner

You won’t find a new original that is for sure. And each second year is different on a seadoo. There are two ways to fix it: 1. If the seat is not too degraded, have someone do a cover over it. This is what I did with mine but it was in a much better condition. 2. Have someone remove...

    New SeaDoo Owner

I’m here! Oh, lots of work there. I think the seat is gone that is for sure, but it can be fixed. I went through that. And I‘m not sure I want to see the inside. But this is a great and simple ski. Mine still rocks. Fire up your questions! No these are not scuffs on the ski hull, just sun...
