Just a follow-up. Prior to dismantling I got 150 psi on both cylinders. After cleaning and replacing cylinder cover, o-rings compression increased to over 160 psi. Hopefully that is a good sign.

Was the first picture the side that you push out the bearings and this is the side with the Oil Seal that they would come out of?

Just dismantled the Jet Pump and have at least 3 questions. 1. When I pulled the impeller off, I did not see an Oil Seal under the thrust bearing/washer. It looked like this. Is that correct? Does that unscrew. I thought there would be an Oil Seal with a rubber seal around the shaft. Question...

I'm no expert but are you using the correct spark plug? Size/length/crush washer, etc.? It sounds like the top of the piston is hitting the plug.
