    Bleed screw Oil pump help

Mine broke off right at the head, so I had a small piece I could tap with a pick and back it out. I personally wouldn't put gasket maker on it for fear it would find its way into the lines and plug one up. Is it leaking oil? If so, I would wait and replace it.

    2003 GTI LE RFI Electrical

No, the RFI MPEMs are not interchangeable. The 2003 is different than the 2004. Compare yours to the shop manual for the 2003. The part number is also on the MPEMs body. Something is either not getting power (corrosion, disconnected) or a relay is bad. Also, you could have the wrong MPEM or the...

    2003 GTI LE RFI Electrical

Could also be a bad solenoid. I think you should have 12volts from the solenoids red wire to the cut-off relay at all times. It is the Cut-off relay which then shoots power to the MPEM when the key is inserted.

    2003 GTI LE RFI Electrical

You could have a bad D.E.S.S. switch. Thus when you plug in the key, power is not provided to the cut off relay and then to the MPEM.

2004 GTI LE RFI bogging stalling after 5-10 min X2

Oh... I missed that part. Didn't see any pics or mention of being underwater in this thread. If they were dunked then an electrical issue i.e. corrosion could cause all kinds of problems unrelated to the engines.

    2003 GTI LE RFI Electrical

It gets power from both sides of the Starter Solenoid. Before and after start. A red wire (small gauge) from the starter solenoid goes to the "Cut-Off relay" to tell the Ski there is power. Check that fuse or relay. It may be bad or blown.

    Did you check these?

    2003 GTI LE RFI Electrical

No, I don't think so. It gets power as soon as the DESS is plugged in not after the engine is started. Check the connectors up front. Unplug them and check for corrosion or a broken pin. Let me check the electrical flowchart. Be right back.

2004 GTI LE RFI bogging stalling after 5-10 min X2

Could be, especially if it's very small bits. Pull the pumps and look inside. Is it dirty in there? Crap floating around? Worth a shot. I have a new pump but waiting till fall to install. Not a fun job. Remove your glove box to get a good view. Just be careful and don't break the three clips...

2004 GTI LE RFI bogging stalling after 5-10 min X2

Add an inline fuel pressure tester and watch it while you ride. I've seen a YouTuber do it ( I think https://www.youtube.com/c/SeadooRefurb). Maybe the initial fuel pump starts up fine when cold and provides enough fuel and pressure but then slowly dies and can't keep up. The pump is just worn...

    2003 GTI LE RFI Electrical

Usually dealers won't touch an old Sea-Doo. So, unless you know someone, you are going solo. I would check the connectors in the front (nose). I believe there are two Main ones up there behind the panel. Then check the connectors behind the dash area. There are four or five. Make sure they are...

    Name this part

Just FYI... If they used a non-OEM starter then the bracket won't fit 99% of the time. Probably why it was not put back. Many people run without them. Just ensure the other 2 bolts are tight and the top one has the backing nut attached.

2004 GTI LE RFI bogging stalling after 5-10 min X2

One more thought is the fuel injectors. Are they spraying correctly? If needed, pull the fuel rail and inspect the injectors. I bought a cheap fuel injector tester on Amazon and have sprayed fuel injector cleaner through them and the difference afterwards is noticeable. If dirty or slightly...

2004 GTI LE RFI bogging stalling after 5-10 min X2

I have the same Ski and love it. It sounds like you have 2 problems. Electrical and fuel. The rectifiers when bad will let the ski run at about idle or slightly faster but don't usually shut off the ski. It just goes into a limp mode. Also, the voltage on mine goes up to about 13.5 when cruising...
