Thanks I have all off the above completed but I can't remove the pump. I'm trying to remove my pump on a 1998 SPX. I remove the VTS cable and steering cable and the 4 bolts. Is is the sealent holding the pump or I'm I missing something.

Dr Honda, "If it has the factory Oketer clamp... cut it". Should the same type of clamps be put back on? What else has to be removed to slide out the drive shaft. I need to replace the carbone ring.
