If you are sure you measured right then the RV is out of spec. I'd take it to a good local machine shop and they should be able to take care of it.

I haven't built a 787 in a long time but I believe one of them is a different size than the other two and it goes on the crankshaft behind the PTO.

I'd be afraid of breaking those off with them mounted that low. There's not much material around that top hole plus no washer to spread out of the load.

If fuel system was rebuilt properly and you're still having issues then you might have an air leak in the engine

Yea they used to cost half what they do today but I guess it's my only option. I don't have any money in this GTX so if it cost me $1200-1500 to fully restore it then I'll be happy and have a relaible cruiser for friends and family.

I've been waiting on WSM reman 951 carb cranks to come back in stock for a little over a year now. They said they still don't have an ETA. Other shops want $500-600 to rebuild it with Japanese bearings so that's probably the route I'll go this winter
