    Delete the AP and rejet for the FA. I remove that bulky airbox on all my skis, especially 951s because it makes carb tuning a PIA. Stock skis it doesn't really matter, just leave it since you wont be tuning all the time.

    I wouldn't. The I series carbs were designed with emissions in mind. If you want to run 44mm carbs, go with aftermarket or SBN44s.

    #2 is the gas tank vent out. One way check valve that is directional. #1 looks like the location of the battery vent but not 100% sure since I don't have a XPL.

    Sounds like a fuel issue. All the info you need is in the service manual.

    Just run the reserve line directly to the carb(s) bypassing the fuel selector and water separator. If it runs good then you know the issue is one of those two. If not, then its likely a carb issue or air leak.

    If your inner crank seals are leaking then you'll want to block the line that feeds the RV. The one with the filter goes to the oil pump.

    The stainless steel piece should spin with the driveshaft. Replace the 2 orings and the c-clip while you have it apart.

    Stock motors are best left with the oil injection. If you're running a built motor, premix is the way.
