Challenger OEM Wake Tower, how do you fold the bimini?

The boot that zips around it is attached to the bimini which makes it a bit tricky. Which direction do I fold it, and should it be folded around the tower itself?

Challenger OEM Wake Tower, how do you fold the bimini?

It's a 2012 Challenger. Here's a pic of what the tower looks like:

Challenger OEM Wake Tower, how do you fold the bimini?

Still learning the ropes of my new boat, but cannot figure out how to properly fold/stow the bimini top with the OEM wake tower. I'm able to extend it properly but can't figure out the stowing part. The manual doesn't show this and I haven't had luck finding any videos online. Is anyone able...

Reversing from Slip and Operating on One Engine

Appreciate the advice - still getting the hang of operating in tight quarters at slow speeds. I think the biggest challenge is trying to keep the boat "still" which seems to be achieved by going back and forth between neutral and reverse. I haven't tried docking mode yet but maybe that will...

Reversing from Slip and Operating on One Engine

As a new boater (and new to jet boats) I'm curious what's the best way to reverse from a slip? Should you first remove the tie-downs and then start the engines, or first start the engines and then remove the tie-downs? Since there is forward movement in neutral I'm not sure the best way to go...

    Anyone name their boat?

Thanks for the pics guys, looking good! I think I'll order some decals :)

    Anyone name their boat?

Awesome! Could you post a pic of this sometime? Curious how it looks on the back of the transat seats.

    Anyone name their boat?

We just picked up a '12 Challenger 210 and the wife wants to know if we can name the boat. A large majority of boats on our lake have names on the rear. I'm just not sure if there's room on the back of the boat for the letters. I could maybe remove the "challenger" decal on the back and place...

Factory wake tower pros vs cons

Thanks for your opinions guys. I've decided this boat with the wake tower is the way to go!

Factory wake tower pros vs cons

Those are some good points. The wake tower is growing on me and seems like it might be nice to have, even if we don't wakeboard. I found out this boat also has the twin 155's which makes it more attractive. This will probably be the one! Thanks for the input guys.

Factory wake tower pros vs cons

Thanks for the pic of the wake tower with the bimini top. The boat in question is a 2012. We don't have any garage clearance issues so the wake tower would be okay in that regard. I just wonder if it would be overkill since we won't use it for anything other than folding out the bimini top...

Factory wake tower pros vs cons

I'm currently narrowing down the search for a Challenger boat and came across one with the factory wake tower. Does anyone know if this can be removed or replaced with the standard bimini top? Does the tower still have a bimini top? Does the wake tower get in the way of getting in and out of...

    Recommendations for first boat?

Thanks for taking a look at them. I also noticed the radio in the 2010 doesn’t say “Jensen” (not sure if that’s good or bad) and doesn’t have the control unit on the transom which the 2011 has. Both of them have discoloration in the bimini tops so that must be somewhat common. Not sure what I...

    Recommendations for first boat?

Does anyone know the differences between the 2010 and 2011 model years? There's a dealer in Michigan that has both for sale, and the 2010 is $1k less and has 50 less hours than the 2011. Unfortunately they won't budge on the price. Curious what you guys think of these: All Inventory |...

    Challenger 180 vs 210

Thanks for the insight - we've decided that a 210 is the way to go. Good point as well about handling in choppy water.

    Challenger 180 vs 210

I think you pretty much answered my question. Storage or towing really isn't an issue. If we went with a 180 I'm afraid I would regret not going for a 210. Thanks!

    Challenger 180 vs 210

Yes the previous thread was quite helpful indeed. I suppose I could have continued this there. I'm just curious to hear from any 180 owners if they have ever felt the boat was too small or wish they would have purchased a 210.

    Challenger 180 vs 210

We're on a hunt for our first boat (SeaDoo Challenger) and I'm debating between a 180 or 210 model. Several years back we rented a 2006 180 model and with 6 adults on board it was a dog! We took water in over the front during waves and it wasn't an enjoyable ride with 6 adults. However, this...

    Recommendations for first boat?

Great info everyone! Much appreciated! What type of upkeep does the exterior require to keep it clean and looking new? Maybe wax it each year before putting away for storage? What would be a fair price to pay for a 210, twin 215's with under 100 hours?
