Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

I'm looking at having a one piece snap-on cover made for the entire boat which would prevent water from dumping off the windshield into the bow. That's an interesting idea on modifying a Poppy with a zippered hatch screen in the rear. I'm having trouble visualizing how that would look or how...

Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

Hah! I'd be tempted to purchase them from you, but my OEM covers does the same although it has multiple tears. I'm hoping a custom made cover solves and water/moisture issues.

Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

I've also been looking for an OEM snap cover and they appear non-existent. The only option is a custom cover which most local shops are quoting $1,100 - $1,200 for.

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

Thanks for the tips. I plan to replace it this weekend.

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

I wish they would have made an access panel to make replacing the pump easier. I ordered a replacement pump. It's kind of a PITA to access!

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

Turns out the bilge circuit breaker was popped! When I reset the breaker and manually turn on the bilge it keeps popping again so the pump won’t run. Anys thoughts on why it keeps popping?

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

I'll make sure to check the breaker as well next time I'm out there. Might end up ordering a new pump regardless to have on hand. Appreciate the help!

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

There isn't any noise from the pump when I hit the switch. In the past I remember it made a faint buzzing noise when the switch was on, but now there's nothing. So I'm guessing it has failed. Sounds like they're kind of a pain to replace. Can anyone confirm this is the correct pump to order...

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

Thanks for the info guys. I tried turning on the bilge under acceleration with the bow raised thinking it might pump it out but it didn't. I took another look in the engine compartment and there's a small amount of water as you can see in the pics below. Should the bilge be pumping this out...

Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

Good to know! I can't find any snap-on OEM covers available so will probably have to have a custom snap-on cover made locally. Much more expensive than the poppy unfortunately!

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

My OEM boat cover needs to be replaced and after a recent rain storm I got some water in the boat. I have about 2-3" of standing water in the rear portion of the ski locker. There's a round tube in the aft lower portion of the locker (drain tube?) and the water is covering that. With the...

Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

Will the poppy cover be difficult to install on a boat that's in a slip? Here's a pic of my slip with limited access to the rear when in the water.

Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

Good to know on the install! I like that the OEM snaps in relatively quickly but it sounds like the poppy is even quicker. My OEM cover has been patched multiple times and is now tearing again so it might be time to pull the trigger on a poppy.

Poppy boat covers really worth the money?

Does the poppy cover install/remove as quickly as the snap-in OEM bow and cockpit covers? Where is the best place to order a poppy cover?

Finally found a bank and got the loan for the boat

Congrats! I pretty much have the same boat as well. I removed the SEA-DOO logos on the sides since they were falling off ... now nobody on our lake knows what kind of boat it is :)

Reverse Bucket Adjustment - Neutral position 210 Challenger SE - Docking Issues

The boat will always creep forward in neutral so that's normal. You will have much better control (at least I've found) with both engines operating at low speeds when docking (I don't use docking mode). As mentioned above your "true neutral" is going to be with the throttle slightly in...

Looking at a 2012 challenger 210 non SC

I purchased a 2012 Challenger (non SC, twin 155hp motors) a couple of months ago with 47 hours on it. Ours has the wake tower which I have grown to really like. It's been a rock solid boat and a complete blast on the lake. I've put 40 hours on it in the last two months and am keeping it in a...
