    Which oil?

In my opinion no. Sorry, TCW-3 not 2 and API-TC are completely different oils. I know some will argue and could be correct but I trust the engineer at Rotax that said they can’t be dual rated. That’s my story and I am sticking with it. The long answer is...... The following is from a Rotax...

    Bowser's WaveRunner

I get it and didn’t want to sound negative. I too restore skis that I should have probably just let go of but I couldn’t. It’s just that those 500 WR’s just aren’t good. Even a waveJammer would at least be retro cool.

    Bowser's WaveRunner

I get the love and dedication, not trying to be negative but why not put your time and effort into something a little more fun to ride and easier to get parts for like a VXR Pro or a Seadoo?

    Prop suggestions / help

Call Impros and they will set you up. You really can’t go by pitch because every manufacturer measures them differently, there is no standard.

    2002 RFI Exhaust Problem

Only other thing I can think of is the ignition timing being off. Maybe check the flywheel and pickup.

    Which oil?

For your GS there’s really no need or requirement for full synthetic but you can if you want. If it’s was me I would use the Lucas semi-synthetic API-TC available at O’rilly auto. You don’t want any that say TCW-3 anywhere on the bottle.

Dang, My "96" XP needs a Rebuild?

Before doing anything pull the gray plastic rear flywheel cover, it’s held on by two plastic wing nuts. Remove both spark plugs and see if you can turn the flywheel a full 360 degrees by hand. Report back and we will go from there.

Dang, My "96" XP needs a Rebuild?

We are going to need a little more info. What is wrong other than "sounds horrible". Sorry, I don't trust many shops.

    Submarine

To me it doesn't look bad at all. Drill out and replace some rivets and reseal.

    Submarine

Post some pictures please. If it’s damaged fiberglass it’s probably not worth fixing. If it’s broken rivets it’s a reasonable DIY repair

    Submarine

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should and it is designed for it. Common sense says you should not throw something in reverse when going forward. Just because I can put my Nissan in reverse going forward on the freeway at 70mph doesn't mean the transmission should survive and...

Get a stainless screw. No reason to use the nylon.

    possible fuel leak in carb

Don’t blow air into the carb. But no, the needle and seat will prevent fuel flow when not running. Sounds like you have a leaking needle and seat.

    Oil injection bleed screw

Only thing needed is the copper crush washer. And DO NOT over tighten it.
