Just ordered a Thrust Vector for my 210 Challenger !

Thanks Kernal, Looks like the latest version has a rubber bumper to protect against that so hopefully that will help. Did you see any difference when steering up to full speed or making sharp turns at speed ? Also, what advantage would the Cobra Jet have over the Thrust Vector since it is...

So I just ordered a Thrust Vector for my 210 Challenger and wanted to see if anyone else has one on their boat ? Looks like it could certainly help when docking and pulling into a slip.

Misting System on 210 Challenger !

Yeah I saw those, very expensive for what it is. I was able to find almost everything including a switch to wire it in to control panel for a little over $100. I will certainly post pictures and results once I'm finished.

Misting System on 210 Challenger !

Not everyone likes to swim. I do but some people like my Mom won't get in the water. I've also had other guests who weren't comfortable getting in the lake. Just going to give it a shot and see how it goes.

Hey Guys, Anyone running a misting system on their 210 Challenger or similar boat and if so is it DIY or a kit ? I just ordered all of the DIY parts to do it and will start working on it soon but wanted to check here for any suggestions or advice. Hoping to keep things cool this summer !!

    2012 210 Challenger Audio Upgrade !

That's great news Kernal ! Please post some pics when finished and I may very well follow your lead on this. Still looking to add a 2nd 10" Sub on the Starboard side and could do this at the same time.

Radio swap and LED light install on Challenger 180

Looks great Nate ! I installed 4 of the same Kicker 6.5" s along with the Kicker 10" Sub and 2 Kicker 8" s in the stern and absolutely love the way they look and sound. You can't go wrong for the price either ! I will probably add one more 10" sub and install the LED lamps to match the speakers...

speed & rpm meter stay at zero

I can attest that the grounding block had a lot of loose connections on my boat. Luckily I found this while installing my new audio and battery system and tightened everything up before heavy use. So yes, check the grounding block !

    2012 210 Challenger Bilge Pump Questions !

Thanks JPASS, So maybe I can just put the hose in under the gas tank ? Pump a little water in and see what happens right ? That looks like the lowest spot back there, actually have my transducer there right now testing it before I glue it in.

Help ! Marina Boat Slip vs Trailering... Advice Needed !

Thanks for all of the info guys. So far everything is going well at the new slip and I plan to pull the boat in a couple weeks to clean and inspect the hull but so far the boat is bone dry and I have seen no issues other than the normal lake/river grime at the water line. I do need to test the...

    2012 210 Challenger Bilge Pump Questions !

OK Guys, Looking for some info as far as location and the best way to test the bilge pump on my boat since I am now docking the boat at a slip. The boat has been very dry so far with very little reason for the pump to operate but I just want to ensure that it is properly doing its job when...

Help ! Marina Boat Slip vs Trailering... Advice Needed !

Thanks and I appreciate the info. The funny thing is that I am getting conflicting reports of the ability of the hull to sustain being in the water for extended periods without damaging the Gel Coat. So you haven't had any issues other than cleaning the hull ? How often should I pull it and...

    2012 210 Challenger Audio Upgrade !

Fishing the wire might be an issue there due to a support in the middle of the boat. On the Starboard side there is a factory pass-thru for all cabling but I couldn't find one on the port side when installing the other speakers and LED cabling so had to go around the stern and then back up to...

    2012 210 Challenger Audio Upgrade !

After a while of running the boat with the new Audio System, I kept looking for better coverage at the helm and think I found a great spot for the two left over Kicker 6.5" speakers. Will have to wait for the weekend to see how they perform on the water but I think it will definitely make a...

Help ! Marina Boat Slip vs Trailering... Advice Needed !

Thanks Anthony ! Keeping the boat inside is not an option for me so I already have a Poppy cover and keep the boat covered outside anyhow, so only difference would be having it in the water but only a few minutes from the house which is very convenient and allows me easy access to keep an eye on...

Help ! Marina Boat Slip vs Trailering... Advice Needed !

Thanks Slaizer, I don't do Lake Norman since it is what too crowded but mostly stay on the northern part of Lake Wylie. The Marina I am looking at is actually on the Catawba River which feeds the lake and is actually a very secure area with gated docks and access but the cleaning will definitely...
