No, the 60 amp kit is all you need since this is related to the charging amperage from the stator and not the current draw for the house and stereo system. I double checked with Blue Sea Systems and they confirmed this info for me. Hope this helps !

Funny, I did the same thing and it was still too tight. I even took the rear pole out and it was still too tight ! No big deal though, it still fits well with the rachet system.

Yes, They are definitely nice covers !! I did notice that with the bimini top down, I can't use the two stern cleat holes but can still cover the stern and use the ratchet system with no issues. Minor issue but someting to be aware of.
