    2002 DI Head Bolt Removal

What about heating the entire Engine Short Block (minus Electronics, Carbs, etc.) in an Oven for a few hours at about 350F to 400F? The Cylinder Sleeves may slide, but it might be worth a try...

2001 GTX Carb - High compression on MAG cylinder

Yes, ADA Head. That 150 Hp Pump Gas 951 Engine was built by Mark McQueen and installed in an SXR 800 Standup Hull that did 62 mph all day long with brutal MSD Total Loss acceleration. I was the Proud Owner-Operator for a few years till the Whiplash and the Elbow Tendinitis became unbearable...

2001 GTX Carb - High compression on MAG cylinder

Was that a typo "Crankcase"? Many drill a small hole in each Rave Hosing/Base to allow EXHAUST to lift the RAVE Blades. And use the same Springs. This works really good. In the Stock RAVE Actuating System, for normal riding and operation, your idea as written, will not safely work because the...

Another seized motor thread! This time it happened to me.

Pull the Pump and see if the Crank shaft and the Impeller will each turn separately. If you're lucky, maybe it's just the Impeller that's stuck.

    2002 DI Head Bolt Removal

Is there any risk of the Electrical Current passing thru the Crank and CB Bearings and arcing, causing damage to the Ball Bearing Surfaces?

    Air in fuel lines

Genuine Mikuni SBN Kits have the Regulator Diaphragm Center Buttons anodized. The Knock-Off Diaphragms don't. Genuine Kits don't come with Needle Valves. Sold Separately. And the Genuine Kits come with Mikuni Stickers ; )

1994 Sea-Doo issue after top end rebuild

Was the Bottom End opened, cleaned and inspected? Were new Crank Seals installed? Was an Air Leak-Down Test (8 psi x 10 min) done on the re-assembled Engine prior to installation? Thinking that Metal Debris or a Leaking MAG Crank Seal in the Crankcase is damaging that MAG Piston. Seems like...

2001 GTX Carb - High compression on MAG cylinder

With no Power, the RAVE Solenoid is Normally Closed, so that won't work as far as lifting the RAVE Blades for maximum RPMs...

2001 GTX Carb - High compression on MAG cylinder

For a quick test, you could back the Ski on the Trailer into the Water and at Full Throttle, manually pull the RAVE Valves fully open/up. If you gain RPM, then the Solenoid Valve/Hose that feeds the RAVE Valves is leaking or going bad. This Solenoid System allows Crankcase Pressure to push the...

Battery hopped out of case and touched water

You're going to need a Multi-meter to check all the Wires, Fuses and Components. Sometimes the Fuses look good at first sight but the Ohmmeter will tell for sure.

Battery hopped out of case and touched water

Start by checking the Fuses... But why did the Battery commit suicide? No straps?

    Stall issue 1996 seadoo GTX

Oil Injection is ideal and best as long as the Oil Injection Lines are replaced every couple of years. Because they supply the optimum Oil Quantities for each RPM range. The Oil Injection Pump never fails because it is lubricated by a constant Oil Bath from the Oil Tank. And even if the Oil...

1996 Sea Doo Sportster Bombardier forgot to put the plugs in.

"Draining for a Week" No Bueno... Water-flooded PWC Two Stroke Engines need to be drained and purged of Water right away; then run hard to remove all the residual Water and lubricate all the metal parts. Only a small Time Window for removing the Water and running the Engine after a Flooding...

    Stall issue 1996 seadoo GTX

Pre-fixing? So the Oil Injection Pump was removed and now are PRE-MIXING the Fuel? Did you leave the Oil Tank connected to the two Rotary Valve Gear Shaft Oil Bath Fittings to lubricate the internal Rotary Valve Gear Shaft?

    2005 RXT Starter relay issue

Death by DESS? These Seadoo DESS Keys have a Chip built into them that eventually go bad.

How freely must a New impeller spin in a New wear ring, in order for the engine to start?

If the Wear Ring is Plastic, it's probably made from Delrin which has good Chemical Resistance against Oil, Gasoline and Grease. The Lubricants will wash off anyway with use. If you're really concerned about chemical damage to the Liner, then use Silicone Lubricant. After manually spinning and...
