HIN missing digit? 2013 RXPX 260

On the old skis it's under the gas tank. How does your dmv know it's missing a letter? You can't just walk in, hand them the title, process the paperwork and head out?

Just use a punch and mark the weight and mark the shaft. Put them back to where you posted them off from.

96 XP won't start in water

Can you post pics of your old cover? I'm just curious. I've been messing with ski doo snowmobiles and seadoos for 30+ years and have never once seen a worn rotary valve cover. Some of these sleds have had over 4k miles, much more run time than a ski gets. Just want to see what yours looks like.

SeaDoo 717 bolt fell into carb and damaged rotary valve

You know, if you pull the choke cable out you can rotate the T handle left it right and it will lock in place. It's like having a 3rd hand.

Couter balance oil cavity auto fill up after rebuild

Did you make sure the locating pins on the bearings were on the correct size of the cases? If not, there will be a huge gap inside the cases and you wouldn't know it from the outside.

    1994 XP - no power - blows 5a - Bad MPEM ?

Did you happen to check for any chewed wires. If it blows right away that's a direct short. If look at all the wiring before I spent a dime. It's free to look.

Winterizing without breaking in new engine?

If you haven't ran water thru it, I would just pull the spark plugs, spray it with fogging oil and call it a day. I wouldn't think twice about it.

Winterizing without breaking in new engine?

Did you run water in it? If so just follow the normal winterization procedure.

Can't get pump back in 96 GTX with Neoprene seal

How far is the wear ring protruding from the pump? That's where I'd look. The OEM wear rings have a small thin lip that will dig into the neoprene seal, this is something the aftermarket delrin ones don't have. I wonder if the place that manufactured yours makes theirs a tad longer and is trying...

Can a mikuni carb be tuned (high speed) like a chainsaw (richer until 4 stroking then backed off slightly)?

Yeah, I would NEVER shorten or stretch a spring. Buy the correct one.

Can a mikuni carb be tuned (high speed) like a chainsaw (richer until 4 stroking then backed off slightly)?

Seadoo up until around 98 I think ran the highs closed completely. And even then they only open the PTO carb high open a little. In 26 years of playing with seadoos I've never had to stray from the factory settings. I set them on the bench, install, and go. I'd like to think you should be able...
