Oil pump is broken what else could be wrong

Hello all so today I took off the engine to rebuild the supercharger and to check the rest of the engine and I found out the oil pump in the front is broken in pieces I know I need to replace it. My question is do I need to open the hole engine and clean it or can I just take off the pto cover and the bottom case and clean it and put everything back thanks

Guessing you had a supercharger failure with the ceramic washers broke apart and then they never cleaned out the broken ceramic pieces and kept running the machine. The remnants of the ceramic shards have basically been running through your engine which took out the oil pump and may have done more damage than you can see. Your bearings are probably scored up as well as your camshaft journals which means you will need a new head. Do you see any big pieces of the washers in the screen?
