Hey i just bought a 2001 seadoo gtx di. When i first bought the ski it would only go apprx 40mph... i did some research and found that my wear ring was destroyed haha so i removed the pump housing to replace the wear ring which got me approx 45mph. Once the pump housing was removed I found a large chunk missing out of the pump housing fins/on the pump stator?. How much impact would it have if thats not repaired? It Seems to pull aprrox 6700 rpms at full throttle. Engine seems to run smooth with no misfires or bogging down. Also once i replaced the wear ring i also replaced the impeller with a solas magna fly. Any thoughts on this? Obviously if theres damage to the fins on the housing (not impeller) i know it has to be repaired but would that cause a loss of 10+ mph? Thanks in advance!
