1998 GTX LTD Max RPM 5k

Compare your pulse line pressure between the two. Eliminate that. Swap the solenoids, Eliminate that. Swap mpems, Eliminate that. Check to make sure the big exhaust hose is not soggy feeling on the slow ski. Quickest swap is the mpem. That should eliminate most of it being electrical. Are both...

1998 GTX LTD Max RPM 5k

If motor doesnt have enough case pressure then it is junk. So rule that out if they are newish. Rave solenoid usually activates around 5000 rpm. At 5500 the raves are open and motor should rev up to at least 6800. Most any decent running 951 will get more, If someone has changed the oem prop...

    Help please gti

If 95 three seater hull, then it will be a GTS with 580 single carb or GTX with 657 twin carb. Likely someone has swapped titles or hulls. Otherwise it is a 96.

1998 GTX LTD Max RPM 5k

Swap the solenoid from other ski. This will confirm if working or not. Those skis should pull at least 6800 rpm when everything is correct.

    2001 Rx

The RX doesnt need a bilge pump. If water is coming in, you need to chase it down. Check to see if there are two small tubes sticking down in the pump nozzle. If one or both are missing, there is one place you have a problem. Did the motor stall as in die? And it started right back up? If it...

    951 OEM rave setting

I would clean the raves. I just checked 5) 951 WCV's. 3 were flush. One, all the way down. One was half way. If nothing has been altered, neither should need adjustments,

    Performace upgrade(s) for a 94 XP

The 94 XP was a decent ski in stock form. You are not going to get a lot of boost without compromising the reliability of that engine. FACTORY PIPE made the only real aftermarket pipe worth using. But had a tendency to burn up the rear piston if not perfectly tuned. PSI made a set of twin pipes...

    2000 Seadoo XP speed limiter

Alright, if nothing has changed, but the bilge pump, then the most likely thing would be clean your raves. If that doesnt fix, then check the wear ring to make sure it hasnt delaminated from your previous ride.

    1995 SeaDoo Bombardier overheating

What engine and what model is it? Is it a GTS, GTX, SP, SPI, XP, SPX, or even a boat? Bombardier is the parent company that owns Seadoo.

HELP - GSX will not run/perform in water

How did the ski run before doing all of this work? If you can slightly pull out the choke and ski falls over or dies then dont richen up the carbs. Leave them at 1 turn open on lows and close both of the highs for now. Give some history to why the work was done.

    2000 Seadoo XP speed limiter

Hate to break the news, but at 7000 rpm the ski might do 61 at best. Your dream-o-meter is lying. But something has changed with the loss of rpm. The most obvious thing would be your raves. Remove them and clean. Check all wiring and hoses connected to the raves and solenoid. The next obvious...

    96 GTI Won’t Start

Check the flywheel key. it may have sheared. Usually from not getting nut tightened to spec. This is assuming you have checked all of the electrical connections that may have been tampered with when engine was swapped out. It could be a simple loose battery cable, ground wire to block, spark...

Full Bore no engine year later

Why are two new batteries trashed after one year? Most will last at least three years if proper maintenance is done. I realize people can ge over their head with work. If you are tired of delay demand money and original parts back and walk away.

    Newb 2000 gtx

A stock carb'ed 951 should only have about 130 psi on compression test. Unless some one has cut the head down and installed aftermarket flame arrestors and rejet. 2000 and 2001 has grey tempo lines. 2002 started back with black fuel lines.

    Fuel tank pressure 97 GTX

The grey one is a 1.5 psi pressure valve. The other one is just a check valve.

    Fuel tank pressure 97 GTX

Why do so many posts refer to the tank needing pressure? The tank is not pressurized. But if you shake a sealed container full of gas it will build up some pressure. The slightly positive pressure in tank just prevents any chance of water getting sucked in. Has nothing to do with fuel management.

95 XP 717 REBUILD or NEW ENGINE

That cutaway came from return line connected to hose barb on rear carb. The green side was on the carb. I find the green on anything with brass hose barbs. Outboards, tractors, old Cushman scooters. Even some cheap pocket watches. Just not so much the goo. But anything with grey tempo lines is...

Just under 1500 in the water is what you want. Out of the water adjustments will get you close at 3000.
