I can't get the end clips on the the air cleaner cover. The other ones went on fairly easy. Is there a trick or is it just a pain to get the end ones on?

changed the gas lines on 96 xp, and drained and cleaned the gas tank. What is the best way to prime the engine to get gas flowing on the initial startup? Thanks

Is this plastic filter supposed to snap into the baffle? This one just falls out.

Can’t seem to get the baffle out. Does just the plastic part come out or does the rubber part come out also. The manual says to pull straight up, but I can’t get it to budge. Any advice appreciated

I have a strong smell of gas when I remove the seat, after it has been sitting for awhile/ There is no gas leaking from the tank or any of the hoses going to the carbs, or fuel selector switch. Could it be one of the vent tubes is stopped up? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Just got this 96 xp. It looks as though it has very few hours on it. The engine compartment and the rest of the interior of the ski is spotless. Is there any way to find out how many hours are on the ski.

I am having trouble bleeding the small oil lines, the 3/32 ones. I can't seem to get all the air out of them. I have tried taking out the plugs, holding the pump wide open and engaging the starter for 15 seconds. I have tried the pump wide open and the engine at idle. No luck. I get the line...

took the gas tank off and drained all the old gas and replaced with fresh. Replaced all the grey fuel lines. Should I prime the carb before trying to start, and what else should I do to get it to fire. Also the carb was rebuilt using the right parts.

in the manual concerning rebuilding the jet pump unit it says to use locktite 515 in seal housing, all around outer diameter and on seal seat. Could I use three bond 1184 instead of the 515 with no problems? 1996 gts
