try testing your solenoid

wierd that you say it gets stuck....without the plugs in can you grab the pto/driveshaft with just your hand and see if it turns smoothly? you should not feel any sticking.

bridge the solenoid with insulated pliers or screw driver. if the starter runs strong the solenoid is starting to go bad.

unplug the battery before spraying everything and let it dry thoroughly.

i am pretty sure the contact cleaner is non conductive and you can spray it direct into the plug connections. read the instructions but i have read that it is for sensitive electrical components.

is the starter running strong? if not, that combined with the low compression may not let it fire.

changed your spark plugs? trimmed your spark plug cables? there could be a little corrosion on the ends of the cables.

how are you testing spark? is the starter running strong? if your battery is weak the cdi may not produce the signal. do not jump the battery....you may blow up the mpem....then for sure you will not get spark.

why did you change the coil? you said you had spark.
