I said that because the groove in the hose looks like the round clamp type. If that hose is coming loose you have a problem. I put grease on the hose before I mount to help them slide on and they don't pop off. Good Luck

That's cool !! I thought about decking the cylinders on one of the skis. I have a lathe and sometimes bore my own cylinders. Easy peasy to deck when you are set up for boring. :D

I'd check the exhaust system for a bad hose or at least make sure you are getting good flow. Are you using the screw type Hose clamps?

I don't think I've done a GTI 717 with a dual carb set up. (1996-2005). I'm not sure if there is much of an advantage with dual carbs other than a pain in the azz. LOL

I like the GS with the 717. A bit more stable than the X4 hulls and still lots of fun. Yep once you ride a hull that handles you don't want anything less. I like the 1996-2002 GTX hulls.
