There appears to be some type of set screw on the ladder that holds the pin on place . I can't find a tool that fits the hole to loosen the pin to remove it. Am I missing something on the removal of the pole?

I broke the left side pin that runs through the pole that keeps the ladder from sliding out of its slot. Any ideas on repairing this or finding a replacement. The ladder bracket is held on with 13mm. Bolts but they are extremely tight and I am not sure if they should be removed. I am afraid...
