    Need some advice....

I would start off by talking to the manager and explaining the situation- chances are he probably already knows. Go in with a calm attitude and be willing to hear him out. I would focus on the skis current condition and that it was in perfect running condition when you handed it over....it would...

Challenger 1800 adding weight to bow

I don't know what it is about everyone wanting to ride in the back but I have the same issue. I'm not sure exactly how your bow is set up but I 2nd the idea of a fat sac or what I do is scoot my 55qt yeti loaded with ice and drinks as far forward and the weight of that cooler is similar to a...

    Need some advice....

Tough situation man but if it were me I wouldn't just roll over and eat the cost. You gave a perfectly good running ski to the mechanics and they are going to return it with a trashed engine? Sure, what RacerXXX and Coastiejoe said maybe true but the fact of the matter is they broke it. If they...

    Intake Grate Bolt ?

So the previous owner of my boat had some kind of issues with the intake grate and the 2 bolts closest to the bow have been snapped off. I had my local mechanic attempt to drill them out with no success. Since he doesn't do a whole lot of work on Challengers he wasn't real sure what's on the...

    Pensacola area

Jack, though I live in Texas I have spent the past 2 summers in Navarre and have launched twice from Shoreline Park in Pensacola. The ramp is very nice and both times it's been quiet. The pass isn't far and there are a few islands in the area to beach your boat or PWC. Hope this helps a bit.

Large hole in bottom of hull from trailer. Any recommendations on best way to fix?

This is upsetting and its not even my boat! I agree 100% with Joe....call your insurance company and claim it. I had 2 spots fixed that were the size of quarters on my hull where I bumped something and it cost me $350 to get it fixed. The damage to your boat is serious and I put money on it...

What I did to my 4-tec boat today...

Nos...I want to do the entire boat in Hydro Turf as well but the original carpet is still in good condition so I'm holding off for the time being. If you look at the picture of my head unit you can see where my amp is mounted. It's mounted on the back wall of the glove box, up and out of the...

Roll Call for Houston and Surrounding Areas

Post up if you're in the area. I'm usually cruising the Lower San Jac, Galveston and Freeport areas. Lake Conroe is a mess unless you get out as the sun is coming up and I have yet to run Livingston but with the Trinity still very high I wont be going there anytime soon. I'll be on the San...

    Stereo remote swap for gauge

I have looked into that as well and found a decent Sony remote. I just wanted something cool to look at but like you said a remote would be of more use than trying to have my passenger play dj :cuss:

    Stereo remote swap for gauge

Your thoughts are correct Mooch. I like the voltage meter you have installed and since I run a dual set up that would probably be the smartest thing to install but what would be cool is a boost gauge :driving: Thanks for your input regarding the fuel meter Xintersecty....your foot work saved me...

Great ride on the Kissemee today. 90 miles worth.

I would love to but being I'm in Texas with no vacation time available this year it's going to be a bit tough. I have a couple of friends that want to make a trip to Florida but like I said it probably wont happen this summer. If and when we do head east I'm not sure if we'll go back to Navarre...

What I did to my 4-tec boat today...

I had a friend slip off the back deck a couple of weekends ago and that following Monday I was on the phone with Hydra- Turf. I ordered a back foam mat which I couldn't be happier with. We will see tomorrow how it performs tomorrow...
