Sold my 155 sportster and now trying to buy a newer Speedster. Is the 215hp supercharged motor really much faster or quicker than a 155 ? I've read all about the maintenance and upkeep of SC Thanks.........

Yes you definitely need a prop and wear ring. Looking at your pic and I see a lot of daylight between the blades and wear ring. I never start my engine or run in less than at least 3ft of water. I've learned the hard way over the years..... Good Luck

I've found over the years that the 4tecs like fresh plugs. You can find them at any auto parts store and they're fairly cheap. It may just fix your surging problem...….

JetPro this is the Solas prop 11/19 That I replaced my original prop with on my Sportster 155 with wake tower. It will run 49-51 MPH (gps) by myself. I know the tower slows me down a few mph but its much better than the factory prop.

Probably not Beergut…… I've actually been thinking about selling the boat and it would probably sell better with the tower.

I was hoping I could just undo the ball joints and leave mounting brackets in place. The wife and I are older and its makes it difficult to climb in boat when on the lift without bumping your head.
