Seems to have a little trouble starting when cold. when running it runs great. come back to the dock when warm and it seems to have a harder time starting. it turns over but just stumbles and often will not start at all. just turns over. any ideas?

Seafood 3d rfi starts ok. Runs great. Then once warm it will at times be a bear to start. Will turn over and sound like it is trying to start but doesn’t. When it is running no issues. I would think if fuel pump it wouldn’t run well when it is started. Ideas?

ok took the 2004 3d out of storage from winter. turned over and ran. put it in the water and it ran just fine. had no issues. rode it for about 5-7 min then it stumbled and started to barly run. got it back to the house. no alarms or warnings. pulled the plugs and they were wet. swapped...

Hard to do? Engine still runs well but even sitting a day will blow tons of smoke. But once running it is fine. Where is the rv line and where are people putting the valve?? Any forums posts on it?

I found out my crank seals are bad. probably easier to just replaced the whole short block. but don't want to wait 6-8 weeks for someone to do it so anyone have good luck with cross shipped one? any good suppliers any ones to stay away from? thanks

Found out that our inner crank seals were bad. now looking to see if getting a shortblock is the way to go. first how hard is it to pull the motor. second I cant find out if it is a 787 or a 782 motor. what is in the 2004 seadoo. 3rd anyone know a good place to go for the short block. also...

Found out the crank seals are bad. need a new shortblock or redo the whole lower end. anyone ever swap out the 787 for the 951 in the older models? guessing things don't line up just curious.

It looks to be one cylinder. just what i thought. is it better to just purchase a new engine and not mess with a while teardown from a dealer?

It is a LOT of oil. if we pull the plugs one cylinder spits a lot of oil a lot.

it will smoke after sitting for a day. it is worth trying to replace the RV seals first? how does one do that? I know the main seals require a complete tear down so I thought I would try the rv first

yes. couldnt all the oil cause hydrolock over time?
