I've read that SBT rave valves don't need to be trimmed back at all unless your going over 1mm oversized. Is this true?

The nozzles for the oil injection on the rotary valve cover are blocked on my engine. It looks like who ever used this rotary valve last was running pre mix and put something in them to block them. What would be the best way to clear them out? Or is it just better to get a different cover?
