    BTW.....this is a KNOWN issue with 2014-2015 Sparks......some had this happen with as little as a few hours. Under warranty and you are protected......out of warranty and the cost is on you.

    At idle there as enough force to spin the impeller......but not under REV..... The drive shaft and crankshaft were fried.....CONFIRMED

    Pull one of the other three and go to ACE hardware for a suitable replacement. Probably stainless.

    Update: ordered a brand new 2020 Rotax 900 long block from Sweden through EBay for $3250 to my door and dealer is swapping next week. Will end up being less than having the crankshaft replaced..... and I will have an engine with zero hours vs 97hours....

    Yes. Weak battery can cause those symptoms. Replace the battery and problem should be solved....couldn’t hurt to get rid of the old fuel as well.....

    Known defect in 2014-2015 Sparks. Crankshaft splines are stripped where they meet the driveshaft splines. Driveshaft is probably toast too. Now the BAD news. Out of warranty.....crankshaft (part only) $1400......driveshaft $250. Now the BAD, BAD, BAD news.....engine needs to be torn down to...

    Thank you for replying. At 5,000 rpms it still won’t move. I was afraid to gun it and make it worse. My 2020 spark moves while at idle in forward or reverse.

    New to me 2015 spark. First time putting it in water and dash reads maintenance required and high exhaust temp ....machine would rev but not move. IBR seemed to work, up and down.....but unit would not move. Fast forward three days.....ordered new wear ring and impeller combo...and exhaust...

    Trixx handlebar clamp won’t close

    It looks to be the same as a mountain bike quick release clamp used on front wheels and seat posts for adjustment. I would have bet $$$$ that loosening it one full turn counter clock wise then clamping it down would have made it lock closer to the riser. I’m stumped. I have a new 2020 Trixx on...

    The clamp handle can loosen if you turn it counter clockwise...then it will close flush against the riser.
