Wish I would have known then. I just bought a sea doo from Pioneer up there on the 3rd and was on the lake all weekend.Was over mostly by the north state park close to our cottage.Will be going up again the weekend of the 25th.

Higgins is by houghton lake rite? I plan on takin' my skis to one of those lakes this summer

Higgins Lake is just to the North of Houghton Lake.Higgins lake is Beautiful.One of the prettiest lakes I have ever been to.The water has multiple blue/green hues depending on the depth.The water is clear and a great all around water sports lake.I would reccomend going to Higgins. Houghton is OK but it is more of a fishing lake.It is shallow and weedier.I prefer Higgins but thats just me.
