    Speedster Handling issues

I had the same issue, early bringing back the throttle causes that unsettling wavering. Add throttle or keep up before steering. It's just like a jetski you need power on to steer.

Access to glove box from behind port side bow back seat 05' Challenger

If you pull the side panel you can access that area. You might have to glue a backing board to mount an amp.

    Motor Surging

My own boat does this at 6200 rpm which seems to be ideal rpm for cruise. GARRR! I cleaned my ICV when I was putting in the new motor. Yeah the 200 bucks for it is not worth it.

    Blown pistonon SBT rebuild

I did a NDAA lookup on a 2003 sportster 4tec 155 to 200 HP. It was about 5K. So that means the cost of a new engine or even used is around 3K plus. So you are in a difficult situation. So if you sell as is, the best you can do is maybe 1K to 2K. Let us know the results.

2006 Challenger 180 Temp Warning Light

Check your wear ring and use a phone GPS speedo for speed. The speedo on the boat is very unreliable unless you bought the GPS one.

    Blown pistonon SBT rebuild

Wow, would love to see pictures and let us know if this a warranty call. I bought a rebuilt used seadoo engine from Riva. I am at my 20 hours and it's been running great all summer. Of course BRP would not even offer warranty as I put it in myself.

2006 Challenger 180 Temp Warning Light

Good recommendation. Mine does not sweat there too. In fact it gets hot there pretty quickly.

    challenger 180 to 210

I see others with bigger boats cruising slower. i think the biggest reason there is a big difference between 6 GPH and 18 GPH,

Good to know about the licenses. I have two skis and one boat. Just glad the boat only has one ECU and one engine.

2006 Challenger 180 Temp Warning Light

I found a random picture on the Interwebs for demo. The angle fins, non moving, are to get the water going straight. The blue ring is the wear wing. I bought a stainless steel ring for the spark but I would not put one on 4-tec setup because the wear ring actually does wear.

New to forum, having some ecu issues on my new to me 2007 challenger 230se

So glad to have an other seadoo friend from SC. I boat on Lake Keowee and it's been a dream to do the intercoastal waterway with my boat. I check on g map and they suck at labeling rivers. I see your off the pee dee river. That has to be awesome. I am still adding little touches to get my...

    2004 Sportster 4-tec impeller

It looks good to me. That is a good impeller no need to replace it. Your wear ring looks smooth. If you don't cavitate then there is no need to replace it.

Here is a picture of the water cooling system. Look at the RXT picture. I wish there was a way of flushing the system with out running the engine. Sadly there is not a way. The water comes into the system via a high pressure takeoff from the jet pump. Here is a picture showing the pump...

New to me challenger, cold start and varying RPM questions

Check the age on your battery, it might be time for a replacement. My last battery lasted three seasons.

is this hole supposed to be there ?

That looks like fore side of the ski locker and yes the hole should be there. You want to make sure water moves from fore to aft into the bilge.

2012 210 Challenger pump hull damage

Nice find JPASS, I have a seadoo RXT that needs some TLC and this has the listed official colors. The gel coat will the best finish. Considering this is a hidden area Marine Tex would work nicely.
