I'm running pump gas domes. It's escaping me right now, but think they're 43 or 44.....I'll have to check when I put the head back on.

RTV. I noticed one day a drop of water or so would come out of there. New gasket, tightening it, etc didn't change it. Took some blue RTV I had in the tool chest smeared in on there, dry as a bone ever since. :)

Got the new raves today and put them in. Now just need to put my head back on, it's "on" in the pic but the bolts aren't tightened down. Gonna pull them off and go over them with a bench grinder to get them cleaner.

Mine were/are OEM used ones.

I had the same issue when doing my conversion to single gauge hood. I ended up blowing the fuse in the mpem. Swapped it and all was fine. Give you say you have power may not be your issue.

I've done it. I restored my xp 5 years ago. I also do paint correction/ restoration and ceramic coating installation on the side so that stuff is second nature to me. It's all about where I choose to spend my time.

You'd likely need the shop stands then and those are pricey. I've either pulled the motors out by hand or a makeshift hoist. I have an electric winch on the wall that moves my skis from stand to trailer. There's 2 things I'll never do again: rebuild 20 yr old carbs, and build wooden stands...
