I'm trying to help a friend with this ski we were told the encoder ring or something in that area is bad when we pulled the new rebuilt motor the mag had bolts missing that holds the flywheel and encoder together but doesn't looked moved not sure how to tell if it's been messed with and is there...

I'm working on the same machine is there a way to test the cps before I put it back in and the encoder ring bolts look like they have been messed with how can I check aliment is correct I can't find either answer in the manual
